I had a great time rocking out the Varsity Theater this weekend with Dylan Scott and Old Dominion. They are all great dudes and are wickedly talented.
It was a great hang and I love connecting with my fans. The Varsity is my kind of venue–you get to be both intimate and close to your fans, and you can really feel the energy and connection.
I want to say thanks again to K102 and BUZ’N 102.9 for their support, Varsity Theater and their excellent staff, and most especially to Old Dominion, who always shows up to deliver. Good times had by all!
I just recently wrapped my music video for my single release “Tangled Up.” We had so much fun shooting at the ranch in Nashville. It was a beautiful day and everyone had a blast. Plus, I got some serious time on horseback, which was a major bonus because I’ve been busy on the road lately touring the midwest.
I can’t wait to share it with you the first week of December on my Vevo and YouTube accounts, as well as on my website. It’s in the final stages of editing as we speak and I promise it’s worth the wait!
I know some of you haven’t had a chance to make it to one of my shows and you’ve been asking for a taste of my music, so here it is! Check out this link and listen to “Tangled Up” as well as five other songs from the album. Make sure to share the link with your friends! I’d love to hear what y’all think.
I just wanted to thank all of the fans, friends and family that came out to my listening party. It was so much fun hanging out and laughing with all of you! I especially want to thank y’all for helping me choose my first single for the new album. Sometimes you get so close to the songs when you’re writing them it makes it hard to be impartial. I’m grateful that the Lord has blessed me with all of you and the gift of music. Thanks again for a great night of food, drinks, fun and country music
God Bless Y’all, Dmac
Just had a huge week in the studio layin down the instrumental tracks to seven of my songs for the new album. It’s so much fun to sit back and watch my friends in the band work their magic. Feeding off each others energy, laughing, feelin the flow and just creating some great stuff. When the music comes from a place of joy and comraderie, nothing can stop it from being great. Led by the Lord in prayer before starting our sessions got everyone’s hearts in the right place and what happened next was the best. Creativity was at its maximum! So good that I have to go back and retake some of my vocals. I have to step up my game to match their awesomeness or they’re going to make me look bad. Dang!! Haha!
Selections coming soon on which single we will be releasing first. So stay tuned and keep your eyes peeled for some of the behind the scenes videos of the fooling around in the studio. A special thanks to the crew at Black Bird Studios for having such an amazing space to create, with their state of the art equipment and completely chill environment, so we could let the magic happen.
Have a great day and God Bless, Talk to y’all soon!!!
